Some Facts About Piano Care

Every piano should be tuned at least once a year, ideally twice a year.  Not only does this keep the instrument in top playing condition, but it can save you money down the road.  Pianos that are severely out of tune require more work, and cost more to be serviced.  In severe cases, the piano may actually be beyond fixing, if it's been left for too long without being properly tuned.

Aside from having your piano tuned regularly, you should also try to ensure the environment it's in remains at a constant temperature.  Avoid placing the instrument against an outside wall or over a heating vent.

Follow these simple guidelines, and your piano will last you for many years.
